October in Jewelry: Light, Texture and Small Contrasts
A new season changes the way we see familiar objects. Light comes from a different angle, the wardrobe gains texture, and a piece you know well may suddenly feel new.

I am drawn to contrasts: polished metal against matte knitwear, a smooth curve over wool, warm gold on a cool shade. There is no need to limit October to traditional autumn colors. Blue, ivory or pink can become even more striking beside a jacket.
Begin with what you already own
Choose a garment and notice its texture. Then try a jewel that creates a gentle contrast: smooth against rough, round beside straight, bright against muted.

The composition on knitwear shows how metal and fabric can meet without competing. A few moments spent choosing an accessory can set the tone for the day. Jewelry works best for me as an open possibility, never a strict seasonal rule.
